Waka Flocka Flame has shared his thoughts on people who record themselves helping the less fortunate.

The rapper actually called these actions "corny as f**k."

Waka, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, is all for helping others. But, he would never use it for any advantage, film it or promote his name this way.

In a social media video that started circulating a few days ago, Waka spoke out against those who feel the need to record their good deed of helping or feeding the homeless.

In the video Waka talked to the camera while in a car, wondering:

"Why would I catch a person at they lowest point in life?"

He continued explaining his logic, and we support his views:

"I got to experience it and that sh*t is the feeling, and that's something you can't take from me. You know what I'm saying? [Or] take from them."

"That's a real human trait. So, to see anybody marketing theyself [sic] feeding the homeless or feeding somebody that needs help, to me, you corny as f*ck, man."

We cannot say whether this was addressed to one person or the rapper was simply sharing his thoughts. We, however, do agree that people use someone's unfortunate destiny to promote their "brand."

As one Instagram user said:

"Waka speaking straight facts as always."

However, one thing needs to be said. Waka shared a video in October, receiving the degree, writing:

"I got Honorary Doctorate in Philanthropy and Humanitarianism… my work just beginning!!!"

Clearly, the musician does a lot of charity work, but behind the scenes. Guess not many celebrities want to admit that raising awareness and self-promotion are quite different. But, the New York rapper clearly doesn't care about those people.
