Among the big names paying tribute to Betty White are the US president Joe Biden, Drew Barrymore, Cher, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Goldie Hawn, Ted Danson, Ana Gasteyer, Jay Leno, Anthony Mackie, Joel McHale, Jean Smart, and Mary Steenburgen. In her 99 years, Betty White was an animal advocate, feminist, a person who stood up for those who needed the voice the most. She passed away from natural causes, and despite being in twilight years, her death was unexpected.

Betty White was already preparing a party with People for her 100th birthday on Jan. 17. Despite not reaching the number, we are grateful for making us laugh, cry, and inspiring generations to come.
