Pornhub launched 'Sexstainability,' a campaign that urges people to stop 'screwing' the planet and think more sustainably to help save the environment.

Climate change is one of the greatest threats to our planet. And Pornhub is hoping to do its bit to help the environment—with your assistance, of course.

The adult entertainment giant launched a new channel called Sexstainable: Jerk Off Instruction (JOI) with videos starring Pornhub models to educate and inspire its users to start acting more 'sexstainably.'

This campaign might not be what you would consider peak erotica. But every time you watch one of these videos, Pornhub donates 10 cents to 2030 Or Bust.

2030 Or Bust is an environmental initiative dedicated to informing and inspiring people to reduce their carbon footprints through easily accessible everyday actions.

During the 'Sexstainability' launch, Pornhub's porn star Kira Noir said:

"We're excited to educate people in a meaningful way that will not interfere with their regularly scheduled programming on Pornhub."

"Combining two things people really enjoy, sex and sustainability, we made the most sense in creating our 'Sexstainable' initiative."

"After all, it's 2021 (finally!), and it's important for all of us get down to business and come together…literally…to help save Mother Earth."

Meanwhile, 2030 Or Bust executive director Laughlin Artz added:

"We are thrilled to partner with Pornhub in getting the word out that not only is the climate crisis end-able and that we have the power collectively to make that happen, but also that making that difference can be easy, sexy, and fun."

'Sexstainability' is the Newest Campaign Pornhub has Launched Under its Philanthropic Division, Pornhub Cares

Videos on the new campaign feature porn stars such as Asa Akira, Kira Noir, Sai Jaiden, Princess Haze, Xev Bellringer, Karina Kova, Little Puck, Honey Gold, and HandsomeBen.

These models address a variety of topics, including how to mitigate food waste, save water and electricity and recycle responsibly.

Pornhub has also launched similar campaigns that help in the fight against climate change in the past.

In 2019, Pornhub released the Dirtiest Porn Ever, in which an amateur couple has sex on one of the world's most polluted beaches.

Highlighting how litter can ruin a beautiful scene, viewers initially can't see the couples' intimate areas. Mounds of trash hide them from the camera's view.

But a few minutes later, a cleaning crew shows up and starts clearing up the trash. This, in return, unveils the couple 'in all of their naked glory.'

For every view, Pornhub donated to Ocean Polymers, a non-profit organization that aims to help protect oceans.
