Raven Alexis, an award-winning adult entertainer, died in March 2022 after a deadly infection. She was also battling Crohn's disease.

The actress was 35 years old, and her husband confirmed her death through a video message he shared on Instagram and Facebook. He has not been named for the sake of his privacy.

In the message, the husband said that he wanted everyone out there to know that she loved them all and cared about them. He also said how fortunate he was to have her in his life:

"I'm just so blessed to have her in my life and be a part of my life. She was the absolute world to me, the love of my life."

Raven's partner said that the porn star died at a Las Vegas hospital from "complications" resulting from Crohn's disease. This is an inflammatory disease affecting the digestive tract.

More specifically, she died due to septic shock, which is a situation where blood pressure drops to dangerous levels. The body was also trying to fight off an infection.

Raven started off as an "internet model" with adult sites such as RavenAlexis.com and RavenPlayhouse.com.

Her independent adult entertainment businesses allowed her to get hired by Digital Playhouse. She worked there from 2009 to 2010.

She said that the company offered her something that was a better match for her goals. Raven said this in an interview with the media.

Once she left Digital Playhouse, she starred in a number of popular porn pics, including The Graduate XXX: A Paul Thomas Parody.

Throughout her career, Raven got a number of accolades. She won the Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene and Fan Award for Wildest Sex Scene back in 2011 after she appeared in Body Heat.

In the same year, the actress found out that she had stage 4 liver cancer. She made the revelation during The Howard Stern Show.

Raven revealed that cancer had metastasized to her brain. She claimed that "Chemo is hard" and "Not eating is really hard."

Once the claims were aired, her boyfriend refuted them. However, she has never denied that she had cancer, and she went on to argue that she had defeated the disease with the help of high-alkaline mineral water.

Raven's death comes at a time when the porn industry is still dealing with the death of Angelina Please. Angelina, whose real name is Francesca Montalbano, was found dead in her Las Vegas flat after going missing for almost a week.
