Porn addiction is real. This explains one Florida man's decision to rip his family off and later kill them on account of a young Bulgarian webcam girl he was obsessed with.

The man, Grant Amato, took over $200k from his family and later massacred them when they asked him to stop. Amato is currently facing indictment for what he did to his family.

The 29-year-old man met Silvie, a Bulgarian webcam model, on a porn webcam site. After this meeting, he took money from his own family and spent it on her.

When gathering the cash, he took $65k from his family home and sold firearms he had taken from his older brother Cody.

He also stole from his family members. Amato did this to gather the cash he required to impress the lady.

Why All This Craziness?

Clearly, the man was crazy for the young webcam model. He went through all this trouble to make her think he was rich and financially stable.

According to Assistant State Attorney Domenick Leo, the man had gone "gaga for the lady."

He went on by explaining:

In addition to the fact that he fell in affection with her, he got fixated on her – to the point that she's all that made a difference.

Get Help Or Get Out

Grant's behavior was increasingly worrying, and his family was already aware of what was happening.

Therefore, when they found he was linked to the robberies they were experiencing, they gave him a choice: get help for pornography addiction, or get out.

Soon after, the man went missing. Naturally, the family was again worried about what would happen next.

His folks were concerned that the man would try to harm himself.

After he was found, he claimed he had stayed away because he wanted a break from his family. He also went to get treatment, but he did not follow through and left before the therapy was completed.

More Trouble For The Porn Addicted Man

After quitting the treatment, he went back home. But his family would not allow him to get in touch with Silvie.

The medical attendant anesthetist school he was attending also kicked him out.

For obvious reasons, his family was not at peace with having him around. His brother Cody apparently told his partner that he was afraid Grant would "execute everybody."

Obviously, Grant was not listening to anyone. Therefore, he did not honor their request to avoid contact with Silvie.

At this point, his father decided enough was enough and stood up to the man. He also told him to leave the house.

The following morning, the family, consisting of a son, father, and father, was found dead. They had been killed execution-style.

For these grievous crimes, Grant will likely be executed. The unhealthy obsession the man had with the cam girl led to all this carnage, although some mental health issues must also have played a role.
