While there are still ways to go with the completely deconstructing current standards of beauty, there have been some popular fashion and beauty companies that are changing the "classic" views on beauty trends—and are now focusing more on realistic beauty expectations.

One such brand happens to be Benefit Cosmetics. The company has chosen a person with Down Syndrome to be one of the faces of their marketing campaigns for the new Roller Liner.

20-year-old Kate Grant, from Ireland, had a dream of exploring her career in the beauty industry. She had already had a bit of modeling experience after receiving the crown during the Teen Ultimate Beauty of the World pageant in her country.

Her victory made headlines back in 2018 as she was the first woman with Down's syndrome to win the international beauty pageant. She was even featured on the This Morning show.

Benefit Cosmetics completely fell in love with her passion and didn't hesitate to sign her in after discovering how inspiring, kind, and beautiful she is.

Kate can now be seen promoting Benefit Cosmetics' new line of roller eyeliner products. The brand is a global beauty products company, selling its products in over 2,000 stores worldwide.

Kate's new job with Benefit Cosmetics has put her in the spotlight on various promotional platforms and all over Instagram. Something Kate's very proud of.

The company claims that as the beauty industry is changing, and they'll clearly be right ahead of competitors after signing Kate as their brand ambassador.

Kate also appeared in a new Wing Women campaign video, confidently strutting her stuff for the camera.

According to her mom, Deidre, Kate wants to spread awareness about inclusion for people with disabilities in all aspects of life.

Her mom added that Kate approaches life with optimism and a smile on her face, and she doesn't let any obstacles stand in her way. She reminds everyone that Down Syndrome doesn't define her.
