Did you know that the Pope has an Instagram account? Well, he does, and his team, or the Pope himself, are liking photos of models, apparently.

It's not just any photo. The model Natalia Garibotto shows her physique by leaning against lockers in a schoolgirl-and-suspenders outfit. Her bum is not covered, and yeah, it's what one would call a thirst trap.

Not the best choice, considering the sex abuse allegations

The Catholic Church faces serious allegations of child abuse, rape, orgies. Pope Francis himself didn't deny that a lot of disgusting things happened.

While we're learning about the scandals, liking a photo of a model wearing a schoolgirl uniform sounds like a trainwreck.

27-year old Brazilian model noticed that the Pope's Instagram took an interest in her. Her mother said:

At least [she's] going to heaven.

Speaking to Barstool Sports, the model added: '

My mom may hate my ass pics but the Pope be double-tapping.

One like that went viral

The 27-year-old Brazilian captioned the image with a smiling devil face. How convenient!

She wrote:

I can teach you a thing or two.

Can't wait for you guys to see my October shoot on my site.

After the Pope's like, or let's say a blessing, the internet went wild. Of course, Twitter is on fire, and people's comments are hilarious.

Pope Francis talks sex

Despite all the puns and controversies surrounding the church, we like the current Pope.

Pope Francis said sex is "simply divine", comparing it to good food.

Pope Francis and Italian writer Carlo Petrini talked in September, and it was quite interesting to hear something other than heaven, hell, do this, and don't do that...

In one of the interviews, the Pope stated:

Pleasure arrives directly from God. It is neither Catholic, nor Christian, nor anything else. It is simply divine. The church has condemned inhuman, brutish, vulgar pleasure, but has on the other hand always accepted human, simple, moral pleasure.

The pleasure of eating is there to keep you healthy by eating, just like sexual pleasure is there to make love more beautiful and guarantee the perpetuation of the species. […] The pleasure of eating and sexual pleasure [comes] from God.

Catholic commentator and writer Peter Williams said that Pope Francis is "unusual as popes go." He added that it's because the 83-year-old talks in a "down-to-earth manner."

We knew this Pope's different in a good way. But liking thirst traps on Instagram? What's next, drinking milk straight out of the box?
