Police Search For Female Suspect After Sexual Assault On Tube Escalator

London police are on the lookout for a woman who sexually assaulted a man while attempting to hold his hand on an escalator.

CCTV footage has been released in hopes that the public can assist in identifying the suspect.

A man was riding on an escalator at approximately 9 PM when a woman attempted to link arms with him. After the man pulled his arm away, the woman sexually assaulted him.

Police confirmed that the woman, who is the suspect in the case, was accompanied by a friend during the incident that took place on Friday, April 14th, around 9 pm at the Euston Underground station located in central London.

According to the British Transport Police, the woman took a tube train after the sexual assault. In connection with the incident, detectives have released CCTV images of a woman they want to question.

The woman in question can be described as having pale skin and straight, dark hair. During the incident, she was wearing a beige skirt and a black puffer coat.

According to a spokesperson for the BTP, authorities are looking to identify and speak with this woman regarding the sexual assault.

They have urged anyone with information to contact the British Transport Police by calling 0800 40 50 40, texting 61016 with reference 450 of April 15, or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
