Taylor Hawkins, 50, was one of the most talented and influential drummers of his generation. The Foo Fighters drummer was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia.
The band was supposed to headline a festival in Colombia, go to Rio, play at the Grammys on April 3, and then continue their tour across North America.
The cause of death is yet to be confirmed, but the police found "cocaine-like white powder" in Taylor's room.
The drummer complained about chest pains, and the hotel staff called the emergency services, but Hawkins had already died.
Taylor Hawkins will be greatly missed by his family, friends, music industry, and millions of adoring fans.
