While discussions about UFOs have often been a subject of jokes, there has been some significant development in recent weeks regarding concrete information about the matter.
NASA, in a historic move, has shared their preliminary discoveries from an independent study on UFOs. They are planning to provide a comprehensive overview of their research in July.
Adding to the mounting speculation, bodycam footage from a local police force has surfaced, appearing to capture a suspected UFO. This has further fueled the ongoing curiosity and discussion surrounding the topic.
The video from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shows a moment when a possible UFO quickly moves across the night sky, leaving many residents confused by what they had just witnessed.
According to a local TV station, Channel 8 News, the object was seen in the sky and captured on a police officer's body camera around 11:50 PM local time on April 30th. The bright light could be seen as far as Utah and California.
Less than 40 minutes after this initial sighting, a man who lives approximately 80 miles away from Area 51 made a disturbing phone call.
He called 911 and claimed that there were two unknown beings in his backyard, shortly after he and his family saw a similar object in the sky.
The frightened man expressed his fear to the police operator.: "There's like an 8-foot person beside it and another one is inside us .. and it has big eyes and it's looking at us — and it's still there."
"In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we're terrified. They're very large. They're like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot."
"They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can't explain it. And big mouth. They're shiny eyes and they're not human. They're 100 percent not human."
As expected, the police were somewhat shaken and even perplexed by the entire incident, as evident from the audio and images recorded on their body cameras.
Unfortunately, we still don't know for sure if the UFO sighting was real or not.
After the emergency call, the police conducted a thorough search of the area and interviewed witnesses, but they didn't find any new details.
They really put in a lot of effort - the law enforcement officers stayed at the property for several days to investigate the possible UFO sighting.
But according to 8 News Now, they didn't discover any new information, and the police have closed the case.
It looks like this possible UFO sighting will remain a mystery forever.
