Award-winning photographer and story-teller, Sujata Setia, has been photographing grandparents with their grandkids for a couple of years now. And the reason for her project?
She was never photographed with her own grandparents, and she doesn't have a single photograph with them.
Grandparents are one of the most beautiful and loving people on earth—they make amazing companions and mentors for their grandchildren.

A grandparent's love for grandkids is unconditional, and their bosoms are among the safest places for the little ones.
No matter what you turn out to be in life, you can be sure that your grandma and grandpa will love you to the end.
Your parents may get angry at you or disappointed at your life choices for a while, your siblings may be hurt by your decisions, your friends may abandon you when you need them the most, but grandparents would travel miles (with frail bones and aching joints) to hold you in their arms and plant a kiss on your forehead.
Their love, care and companionship are priceless.

And Sujata Setia, a UK-based photographer, has captured a series of photos of children with their grandparents, melting the hearts of millions of people online.
Her inspiration came when she discovered that she had no pictures with her grandparents as a child. She wrote on Bored Panda:
"When I look back at all my family photo albums, there is not a single image I find with my grandparents. There are images with mom, dad, my brother... even with my dog and a stray cat whom we had adopted... but seriously none with my grandpa and grandma. And those were the two people I loved the most... I still do, even after they are long gone."
Working on this project has helped her to rebuild the beautiful memories she shared with the two elderly persons who mattered the most in her life.

There's so much for a child to learn from grandparent-grandkids companionships.
Sujata reveals:
"And so, I have sworn that whichever part of the world I will travel to now... I will make sure to photograph a grandparent or great-grandparent with their grandchild. For how often really do we get our grandparents into the frame?!"
"I literally walk on the street, in malls, in flights, on the train ... anywhere I go, I am forever seeking older people and offering them a shoot with their family members as my gift. Some of them sometimes think I'm this crazy lady and some agree."
"And not only has this project helped me rebuild memories of my childhood in a way... meeting and interacting with all the elderly has really taught me so much about life."
