The 'Crazy In Love' singer, 42, has released seven studio albums throughout her career, solidifying her status as one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Last year marked the beginning of Beyoncé's highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour, supporting her seventh album, which shattered numerous records along the way.

After a year filled with such monumental achievements, it wouldn't be surprising if the star decided to take a well-deserved break from her relentless work schedule.

Therefore, when Beyoncé made a surprise appearance in a Super Bowl ad, declaring her intentions to continue her musical journey unabated, it caught many off guard.

Often referred to as 'Queen Bey', Beyoncé released 'Act I: Renaissance' in July 2022, featuring tracks like 'Break My Soul' and 'Cuff It'.

The album from the 'Halo' singer, which celebrated the club era, received critical acclaim for its infectious sounds and Beyoncé's remarkable vocals.

While fans were enamored with the album, they couldn't overlook the fact that its title began with 'Act I', hinting at more to come.

True to her fans' instincts, Beyoncé confirmed in 2022 that this was merely the start of something bigger.

On her website, the star wrote: "This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to the the most creative."

Since the announcement, fans have been left wondering about the nature of 'Act II' and its release date.

During the Super Bowl, Beyoncé made an appearance in an advertisement for the US communications giant Verizon, titled 'Can't Be Broken'.

In the commercial, the singer humorously attempts to overload Verizon's capacity by 'breaking the internet' through various antics, like dressing up as Bar-bey (Barbie) and even running for president.

She then instructs: "Okay, they ready. Drop the new music."

Following the advertisement, the 42-year-old artist released two new songs: 'Texas Hold 'Em' and '16 Carriages'.

Scheduled for release on March 29, the upcoming album is anticipated to feature country influences.

Upon hearing the news, many of Beyoncé's fans have expressed their excitement on social media platforms like X (formerly known as Twitter).

One writes: "Like I'm just so happy to witness and live in the same lifetime as the greatest musical act of all time, s***."

Another adds: "I'm still in disbelief Beyoncé did a commercial last night, teased new music in given commercial, subsequently released two singles and announced the release date of the album… IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE ALIVE."

"I love Beyoncé so much, her artistry, her drive, her performances, her vision, her kindness, her talent. I LOVE THIS WOMAN," somebody else says.

Nevertheless, there are individuals who are not pleased with how Beyoncé chose to unveil the news.

On social media platforms, some are criticizing the star for 'overshadowing' Usher's performance at the Super Bowl.

One X user tweets: "Usher must've walked off that stage and been P***ED that Beyoncé overshadowed his halftime show by dropping two new songs and announcing 'Act II'."

A second says: "She trying to steal the spotlight. If it works, it works."

While another person comments: "Beyoncé stealing Usher's thunder with a 30-second commercial is some nasty work omfg."
