A 21-year-old pedophile serving time for raping a child was repeatedly sexually assaulted by a serial rapist fellow inmate. For the trauma he experienced, he has requested the state to pay for his therapy.
The Daily Mail reported that the now 41-year-old serial rapist, Troy Allan Burley, raped the pedophile several times behind bars. One of such times was while the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was on TV in May 2018.
The pedophile was forced to perform oral sex on the serial rapist. According to New.com.au, Burley would walk into his victim's room naked and make him perform different lewd acts.
Well, even Karma doesn't change the fact that an offense is an offense. For raping the 21-year-old pedophile over a period of three months at the Wolston Correctional Center in Australia, Burley was sentenced to an additional seven years in prison.
The 21-year-old victim is kept anonymous for legal reasons. Also, he has just been recently released from prison after serving time for his crime.
Following his abuse at Burley's hand, he filed a lawsuit for compensation at the Brisbane District Court. He claims that he has post-traumatic stress disorder and panic attacks anytime he sees "bald heads." He also feels as though he was just a "sex object."
In addition to the horrible sexual abuse inflicted on the pedophile, a statement by the victim shows claims of Burley inflicting other abuse. He bit the victim's toes, arms, nipples, and legs during the sexual assaults.
How much they want and what it will be spent on remains unclear.
According to Brisbane psychiatrist Malcolm Foxcroft, the victim not only suffers from PTSD but a major depressive disorder and an eating disorder.
It is believed that $8,640 would be used to pay for "support psychotherapy and cognitive and dialectic behavioral therapy over 18 months."
The victim asks the state to pay for his therapy because its prison officials failed to stop the rape even though he claims he reported it.
