The Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram, India, has eight secret chambers, with seven already opened. However, the last one remains sealed, due to a combination of physical and mysterious obstacles preventing access. Let's delve into the enigma surrounding the final door at the Padmanabhaswamy temple.

The Secret Vault Of The Padmanabhaswamy Temple

The last secret chamber within the Padmanabhaswamy temple is accessed through this gate, guarded by two saints. According to legend, the chamber contains a vast room filled with priceless treasures, unsolved mysteries, and ancient wisdom. The saints claim that the door is sealed by sound waves emitted from an unknown location, as the coordinates have been lost over time.
The Supreme Court of India authorized the opening of the other five chambers in the Padmanabhaswamy temple. A seven-member team was appointed by the court to document the contents of the hidden treasury. When the team, accompanied by the temple administrator, began their search, they discovered six chambers, named A, B, C, D, E, and F. Later, two additional underground vaults were found, designated as Vault G and Vault H.
However, opening the doors to these chambers proved to be a challenging task. Nevertheless, as they persevered in uncovering the vaults' treasures, they discovered gold, diamonds, precious gemstones, statues, golden crowns worn by ancient kings, and thrones made of precious metals, estimated to be worth more than 20 billion US dollars. But the exact value of the Padmanabhaswamy temple's treasure remains unknown as the last secret door of Vault B has yet to be opened.
According to experts in the field of the esoteric, opening the final door of the Padmanabhaswamy temple could be perilous. The door lacks any obvious mechanism for opening, such as a crank, nut, or button. Additionally, there are two serpent figures carved on each side, which is considered an ominous sign for those who attempt to breach it.
The Gate Is Believed To Be Sealed By A Naga Bandhana

It is believed that this door is sealed by a process called Naga Bandhana or Naga Paasam, which involves binding something valuable with a frieze of Nagas, cobra-like serpents. This is a form of tantrik worship or tantrik process, thought to originate from the Atharva Veda. The method cannot be found in written form and is highly secretive, known only to a few Siddha Yogis (great saints) who reside or have resided in Siddhashram, a secret and mystical land deep in the Himalayas.
According to some, the Naga Bandhana is a type of lock that uses specific vocalizations to open it. When the correct spell is spoken, it produces small vibrations that activate the lock mechanism and open the door. It is said that if someone attempts to open the door using a different spell or voice, the sound waves will change direction and awaken any nearby snakes, which may lead to an attack or other dire consequences.
A Divine Child Will Born
According to Indian sages, this door can only be opened by a scholar proficient in the chants of the Garuda mantra. These chants are believed to deactivate the Naga Bandhana. The temple's saints claim that currently, there is no one capable of performing the necessary mantra chants to open this door.
Based on this belief, the saints predict that a child with divine knowledge will be born in India who will possess the ability to perform the sacred chants of the Mantra, and thus the secret vault will be uncovered effortlessly, revealing all the secrets and mysterious treasures it has held for ages.
Can The Door Be Opened With The Current Technology?
While it may be possible to open the final door using modern technology, the saints warn that doing so would cause catastrophic events for the Indian people and potentially even the entire world population. As a result, the warning is taken seriously and no one has attempted to open the sealed door using any modern mechanical means.
In May 2016, a Temple Inventory Expert Group petitioned the Supreme Court for permission to open the final and mysterious vault. However, the royal family of Travancore, along with some devotees and temple administration, have opposed it. The issue will be decided in a court ruling. According to some unofficial reports, the decision may be in favor of the experts, which would allow them to open the door using modern techniques.
