Newly released documents state that Osama Bin Laden banned al-Qaeda members from assassinating Joe Bide during his time as a Vice President of the United States.
Why was Bin Laden opposed to the potential assassination of Joe Biden?? According to a letter from 2010, Bin Laden believed that Biden was "totally unprepared" to lead the United States.

He also claimed that if something were to happen to former POTUS Barack Obama. his VP would "lead the US into a crisis."
Clearly, the biggest targets for al-Qaeda were Barack Obama and General David Petraeus, a commander for international forces in Afghanistan.
The latter, as per BBC, further said:
"Obama is the head of the infidelity, and killing him automatically will make Biden take over the presidency for the remainder of the term, as it is the norm over there."
"As for Petraeus, he is the man of the house in this last year of the war, and killing him would alter the war's path."

Though the document saw the light of the day back in 2012, it is only now gaining more attention considering the current events.
It is no coincidence since president Biden is facing harsh criticism both from worried people around the world, as well as Afghans left to the mercy of the Taliban.
The dramatic scenes from Afghanistan have been circulating for days, and the POTUS was forced to defend his decision regarding a full withdrawal of US troops by September 11, 2021.
While many are quick to point out that Bin Laden was right, he should've been more concerned about his safety. He was killed in May 2011, though it is not clear that his legacy is alive and just as merciless as expected.
The world is waiting for the next move from President Biden.
