Yeah, your dog is so adorable already, but now, with this new Snapchat filter, you can make them a hundred times cuter!
The new filter makes your dog look like a Disney character with these cute, wide eyes and expressive eyebrows...
Dog owners have been posting their pictures on social media showing off the latest Disney-fied dog look.
The good news first came from the Dogspotting Society Facebook group. As Danielle Sugden posted, "For those who don't know … Snapchat has a new filter and it basically Disneyfies your dog. YOU ARE WELCOME. Plz, post your Disney dawgs here."
Danielle posted two snaps of her Samoyeds using the adorable "Cartoon Face" filter on Snapchat.
The post has been flooded with comments and shares. It got almost 600 comments and more than 300 shares when it was posted, which proves how much of a highlight this animal-friendly filter is.
The app's facial recognition tech also allows for various facial expressions, mainly pertaining to how the eyes turn out. It recognizes when the dog squints or shuts its eyes.
Looking at a large number of breeds and pups' facial expressions, the possibilities are infinite. So many of the pooches seemed to have come straight out of the Disney CGI set, while others weren't lucky enough to fit the filter.
In fact, one poor little fellow had the filter stuck right on his nose, which meant he had eyes over his nostrils. That's very cute, though not quite the Disney vibes you'd expect.
The filter isn't Disney-affiliated or created by the House of Mouse, but it oddly makes your dog look like Lady or Tramp or even one of the 101 Dalmatians.
People are already obsessed with the new filter…
The filter is not exactly a Disney filter — it's just called the "Cartoon Face"—and it's not even meant for dogs. However, this hasn't stopped people from using it, re-imagining their furry friends as their favorite cartoon characters!
Steps to get the new Cartoon Face filter:
1. Open Snapchat and press the face to the right of the circle button.
2. Press explore in the bottom right.
3. Search for "cartoon face."
4. Turn the camera to your cute companion, and the eyes will appear as soon as it recognizes their face.
You can also use the filter on yourself to get a wide-eyed Disney character look, so we can only imagine the kind of homemade, short cartoons that are going to be made in people's homes in the next few days.
You know what, try it out with your cats and other fluffy pets around the house and see how much you can Disney-fy everything using this filter!
Don't forget to share your photos!
