A self-proclaimed 'new Nostradamus' has issued a dire forecast for the future of humanity.

Predictions of world-ending catastrophes are nothing new—remember 2012? With current geopolitical tensions, the idea of an impending apocalypse might not seem too far-fetched.

The internet is always abuzz with doomsday prophecies, which can be either terrifying or laughable, depending on your perspective.

The latest to join the ranks of those predicting global doom is Indian astrologer Kushal Kumar, who utilizes an ancient Hindu system of astrology for his forecasts.

This system, known as Vedic astrology, posits that celestial formations like stars and planets can directly affect our lives.

Using this methodology, Kumar has proclaimed that the end of the world is imminent, specifically forecasting that WWIII could start in just a few days.

"NOW, Tuesday, 18 June 2024 has the strongest planetary stimulus to trigger WW3, although 10 and 29 June may have a say as well," he declared during an interview.

He pointed to recent events like the intensification of conflict between Israel and Lebanon, terrorist attacks in Pakistan, and North Korean soldiers crossing the demarcation line as evidence that his prediction is on the verge of becoming reality.

He further explained: "It may be observed here that predictive alert for better care and appropriate strategy involves careful and serious interpretation of planetary impacts while unintended human error or slip cannot be ruled out entirely.

"So, watch the developing war scenario in hotspots across the globe as days pass by."

Kumar has been in the news before for his predictions, having previously claimed to accurately predict the rise in tensions in various global conflicts.

Earlier this year, he made a series of grim forecasts for 2024, which he posted on Medium in May, shortly after the death of former Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash on 19 May.

"2024 was predicted to be majorly worrisome in relation to war conditions in hotspots across the world," he wrote.

"Particularly around May 8 – it was indicated carrying highest escalation in such war fronts as Koreas, China-Taiwan, the Middle East involving Israel and others in the Middle East, and Ukraine-Russia, anger of NATO could also find expression."

As the days unfold, the truth of his predictions will soon be revealed.
