Neighbors Say They Saw Brian Laundrie And His Parents Leave Their Florida Home With An Attached Camper After He Returned From His Trip With Gabby Petito

As the search for Brian Laundrie continues, more people are speaking up after it was confirmed that Gabby Petito is dead and her death is treated as a homicide.

According to his parents, the person of interest, Brian Laundrie, has been missing for over a week.

However, a couple who lives across from the Laundrie family claims that Brian left his home earlier.

Talking to Fox News, the neighbors said that approximately a week after he returned alone from the road trip, they saw the 23-year-old and his parents leave in a truck with an attached camper.

If these claims are valid, then Brian left around September 7th, not last Tuesday. It implies that Brian got a week more to find the perfect hiding spot.

Charlene and William Guthrie, the neighbors, told the police what they saw a week after Brian Laundrie returned home on September 1st.

"I saw them doing some work. And then when they prepared for their trip, I saw them loading the camper."

Rebecca Ollier of Wink-TV tweeted that the Laundrie family left on September 11th, the same day Gabby was reported missing.

Brian Laundrie and his family refused to cooperate with the authorities. The family only contacted the police on Friday, citing they were worried about his safety and whereabouts.

The search for Brian continues as divers and K-9 units are searching Florida's 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve.

Authorities have urged anyone with information about Laundrie's whereabouts to come forward.
