National Security Expert Expects Brian Laundrie's Parents To Be "summoned To The Grand Jury" Momentarily

The search for Brian Laundrie, a person of interest in the homicide of Gabby Petito, is entering its eighth day.
Frank Figliuzzi, who is a former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI, predicted that his parents would be summoned to the grand jury for the obstruction of justice. Speaking to CNBC, he stated:
"I would expect that to happen momentarily, see them in front of a grand jury, and then if they are not going to cooperate, they can get charged with contempt or obstruction."
Brian Laundrie is now wanted by the FBI for the "use of unauthorized access devices." Figliuzzi further stated:
"There is no parental-child privilege, and I actually thought, by now, we would see them summoned to the grand jury. We now have an indictment. It's a federal case."
Despite not being indicted for the death of Gabby Petito, Brian Laundrie is charged for using her credit cards, presumably, after her death.
Laundrie used a debit card and PIN for accounts that did not belong to him for charges over $1,000 between August 30th and September 1st, according to the indictment.
Figliuzzi explained that "unauthorized use" in the charge reveals more than just bank fraud. It also gives a timeline to the case of Gabby Petito's homicide:
"If it's her credit card, presumably, that means that authorities are convinced that Gabby was unable to give permission to use her card. That means they are closer to fixing the time of death…that's why you are seeing 'unauthorized use,' she was likely dead at that time."
Petito was reported missing on September 11th, and her body was found a week later. Her ex-fiance has been missing since last week, or even more.
His former co-worker told The Post that Brian Laundrie once stayed in the woods for six weeks. Laundrie, 23, is, according to his former co-worker, "well versed in spending a long time in the woods and living off nearly nothing."
This is a developing story, and we will post updates in a timely matter.
