A 32-year-old mom lured two teenage boys to her home and had sex with one of them, despite the victim telling her he was still in school.
Teah Vincent enticed the two 14-year-olds back to her home in Woolaston, Gloucestershire, in the evening by offering them a glass of water. She then took one of the boys up to her bedroom and initiated sex with him.
As per court documents, the mother-of-three admitted to having sex with the boy but insisted she believed he was over 16.
Prosecutor Christopher Smyth told the jury the teens had spent that afternoon playing football at Woolaston Memorial Hall.
At around 5pm, Teah, who lived nearby, invited the two boys for a glass of water back at her place.
"The boys took up Ms. Vincent's offer and went back to her home. One of the boys knew Vincent but the alleged victim didn't."
"They sat down at the kitchen table. Ms. Vincent said she thought she knew one of them and said to him that she understood he had a child on the way."
"He told her he was only 14 and was still at school."
The three then talked about school life for some time, but Teah changed the subject and started talking about her body, and then sex.
"She said that she covered up quickly and put on clothes as quickly as she could."
"She then moved the conversation to talk about sex. The slightly older boy felt that Ms. Vincent was coming onto the younger one, but he felt the situation was lost on him."
"She then invited the younger boy upstairs. He went up thinking there would be a television or some other gaming device while his friend remained downstairs in the kitchen."
"Ms. Vincent then took the boy into her bedroom and told him to sit down on the bed. She left the room and reappeared a few moments later, having removed her clothes."
"She pulled him back onto the bed, so he was lying down."
The mom then had sex with the teenager without talking about it with him first.
Speaking of the assault, Smyth said:
"He says there was no discussion at all. The boy had a strong feeling that the situation was not right."
"He knew he was underage and that there was a big age gap between them. She was more than twice his age."
"In the end, he pushed her off, got dressed and fled downstairs."
The court also heard how the friend heard sexual sounds coming from upstairs, 'felt awkward' about it, and went outside for a short while before returning.
Both boys then agreed to tell a female friend who advised the victim to tell his family about the incident.
Three days later, the friend, along with two others, went to see the boy's mom and told her what had happened.
Afterward, the mom confronted Teah at her home but Teah turned her away.
The father of one of the victim's friends also visited Teah to warn her against seeing young boys in their village. But another man threatened him in his own home the following day.
Prosecutor Smyth told the court:
"The next day, the victim's friend was alone at his home when [a man] approached the front door."
"The boy opened the window. He was warned that if his father or elder brother ever went to the defendant's house again [he'll] 'stab them in the jaw.'"
"The [man] then left without saying any more."
Teah has pleaded not guilty to having sexual intercourse with the boy, knowing he was under the age of 16.
Her trial continues.
