Most Intelligent People Are Heavy Drinkers- According To Study

At a point, it was all over the internet that young children who were breastfed throughout their early years without a combination of formula had high chances of having a high IQ. Well, some research was done and this statement surprisingly turned out to be true.

Now, research has also found out that these intelligent children grow up to be heavy drinkers. I actually told some of my friends I was a second Albert Einstein but they didn't believe me. Now, this article is plain proof.

Alcohol which is scientifically called ethanol, is a result of the fermentation of sugar. And excess sugar causes your brain to work at full speed. Alcohol can be found in cocktails, liquors, beer, and wine in different percentages ranging from 0.1% to 99.9%. The interesting fact is heavy drinking shows a sign of stronger intellectual capacity and this was confirmed by a recent study.

According to a report titled 'Why intelligent people drink more alcohol' published in psychology today which was written by psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa, he stated that

'Today, human consumption of alcohol was unintentional, accidental, and haphazard until about 10,000 years ago'.

'The intentional fermentation of fruits and grains to yield ethanol arose only recently in human beings'

He further stated that

'consistent with the prediction of the hypothesis, more intelligent children, both in the United Kingdom and the United States grow up to consume alcohol more frequently and in greater quantities than less intelligent children'.

The most intelligent people always occupy important positions. Because of their level of intelligence, they easily get pissed with business associates, and the best way to forget their sorrow is to take alcoholic drinks, which is really a smart move.

Drinking alcohol is categorized as an 'evolutionary novel' which means that our ancestors did not really explore the brand benefits of alcohol. But due to evolution and intellectual ability, we have fully embraced alcohol and learned to handle it well (even though some people handle it well by ending on the roadside or in abandoned houses).

An experiment was conducted by a team of scientists at Reading University, where they experimented using mammals (rats) to check the impact of champagne. These rats were divided into 2 groups where a group was given champagne for 2 weeks and the other group was not. These rats were later placed in a maze and the rats that were not given alcohol had a success rate of 50 percent, while the other rats that were given champagne had a success rate of 70 percent.

Dr. Kanazwa also confirmed that there was a correlation between childhood level of intelligence and the regularity of alcohol drinking in people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. The data used for this analysis was provided by the National Child Development Study (NCDS) in the United Kingdom. The conclusion for this analysis was that very bright kids grew up consuming almost 80 percent of alcohol in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. But it turns out that smarter individuals prefer drinking wine as they grow older because of their level of education, social status, and most importantly, intelligence compared to kids that had a lower level of intelligence.

Well this doesn't mean you should drown yourself in alcohol but drink responsibly.
