Meet a mom who licks her daughter awake every morning 'like a puppy.'

Marcia, 68, and her 21-year-old daughter Alena appeared on sMothered TLC sequence, where they disclosed more about their unusually close bond.

Marcia claimed her daughter is 'undoubtedly' her best friend, which is pretty impressive.

Giving an idea of how close their relationship is, Marcia confesses that the two do everything together.

She said:

"My relationship with her is unique."

"In the mornings, I walk into her room, and I just lick her all up."

While the mom tends to every need of her daughter, getting her a dog wasn't one of them, as the daughter once wished for.

So, the mom opted to be giving her literal puppy kisses.

She said:

"She kept pestering me for a puppy, and I wasn't able to get her a puppy, so I changed into a doggy."

"Alena tastes pretty good and all nice. I just want to eat her all up."

Explaining the peculiar ritual, Marcia revealed it began when Alena was a toddler.

Alena suffers from an enzyme deficiency, and the chasing started as a way of increasing her stamina and encouraging growth.

But the routine has stuck, and the two continue to chase each other regularly.

She explained:

"When Alena was tiny, she didn't have much stamina. So I would say, 'You can't get me, you can't get me.'"

"It was really a good thing to help her grow, and it just continued."

Meanwhile, Alena, Marcia's adopted daughter, reveals her mother's puppy antics make her feel closer.

She said:

"I love it when my Mamma licks me. It kind of makes me feel closer to her because we're doing something fun and out of the ordinary."

Additionally, when Alena catches her mom, the roles reverse, and she becomes the pup.

"When I catch my Mamma, I do all my kissy-poos, and I kiss her all up. She's very kissable."

"It's a thing we do every single day."

The mom admits her relationship with her daughter may seem odd to some people.

She added:

"Some people don't agree, or they wonder what is wrong with her."

But despite what others think or say, Marcia's determined to hold a tight bond with her daughter.

She said:

"I love the idea as she's growing up of being able to do all those silly things."

"It's getting a little tricky as she's getting older. But we still do all the same antics. We still play the same games, and we have fun."

Other mother-daughters duo to appear in the sMothered TLC include 55-year-old Mary and 19-year-old Brittani.

The pair revealed they both strip naked and share a walk-in shower every day.
