Megan Clara, 20, was gutted last year when her son Ashton, 5, complained that he didn't receive the same expensive presents as his friends.
The single mother, who was earning 80 British pounds per week at the time, bought her son Etch A Sketch, a few toys, and clothes.
After seeing his sad face, the mother swore that their next Christmas would be much more cheerful.
Megan, from Portsmouth, Hampshire, started making adult movies and made 500 pounds per scene.
She stated:
"Last Christmas, I could barely scrape any money together, it was really tough and I couldn't help but worry Ashton was going to be left out and disappointed."
The single mother turned porn star further explained:
"My son has always been high maintenance and never seemed happy with the Christmas presents I could afford."
Considering Megan had her child as a teenager, it's not hard to understand why she made parenting mistakes. And clearly, not being able to explain you're doing your best is a parenting fail.
The adult movie star concluded:
"He has always wanted what his friends had, but I didn't have the spare cash for expensive toys."
Christmas made for Ashton
Clara spent 100 pounds last year, but this year she splurged over 1500 British pounds.
She claims that she receives backlash from people, but in her opinion, they are just jealous. Check out all the gifts the young boy got after the previous debacle.
Megan explained the current situation:
"People say he's spoilt, but he's not, he's my only son, and I finally have the money to get him really nice things."
"I do glamour modeling and sex films, I enjoy what I do, and I'm not hurting anyone else, some people are just jealous."
"I can spend my money how I like too, I don't spend it on alcohol, drugs, or smoking, why shouldn't I spend it on Ashton and myself."
She has a point. Megan's not harming anyone, but how will her precious boy react in a few years? Perhaps, instead of buying him fancy gifts, his mother should spend more on experiences, and perhaps take him to visit a homeless shelter.
