She Was Put On Follistim, A Fertility Hormone

Lindsay told the media that she was given a fertility hormone because her doctors had discovered that she had a "poor egg count."

The hormones were intended to help her conceive.

The idea was to ensure that if she produced more than one egg on a single cycle, she would "catch" a good one much faster.

In addition to this method, there would be timed intercourse six times. If that failed, they would have to try IVF.

Fortunately for her, she conceived the quads on the third cycle of the treatment.

She Didn't See It Coming

Getting pregnant with quadruplets was a complete shock to her.

In fact, when the pregnancy began, she did not think she would carry it to term. She was afraid she would miscarry.

According to her, there was too much "uncertainty, fear, and surprise."

The Birth Of The Quadruplets

July 23, 2019 was a special day for Lindsay. On this special day, she welcomed four bundles of joy into her life.

She told her fans that she had chosen a clear drape during her C-section birth. So, she saw each of her babies being born.

Luckily, all went well since the babies were given the go ahead to go home after a few weeks.
