No pregnancy is like another. Even moms to many kids agree that each birth was different from all others.

So, we can hardly expect that all soon-to-be moms have the same story to tell about their pregnancy and birth experiences.

Of course, there are parallels among expectant moms. Nevertheless, each pregnancy journey is unique, as this mom's pregnancy and parenting journey reveal.

Moms feel overwhelmed on countless occasions. The experience can cause a lot of anxiety, and being a mom-to-be to multiples is something no woman can prepare for.

That said, delivering multiples is not unheard of. However, it is always interesting to hear such a mom's pregnancy story.

Luckily, Lindsay Hay, a mom from New Jersey, shared her journey on Instagram.

Lindsay Hay's Pregnancy Journey

Today, Lindsay is a mother of five. She found out she was expecting quadruplets after her troubled conception.

Some people think twins are a lot to handle. So, you can imagine how life was for Lindsay, considering she was expecting not two but four kids.

Therefore, it is a rare fortune to have Lindsay share her journey with other moms on the internet.

She Was Put On Follistim, A Fertility Hormone

Lindsay told the media that she was given a fertility hormone because her doctors had discovered that she had a "poor egg count."

The hormones were intended to help her conceive.

The idea was to ensure that if she produced more than one egg on a single cycle, she would "catch" a good one much faster.

In addition to this method, there would be timed intercourse six times. If that failed, they would have to try IVF.

Fortunately for her, she conceived the quads on the third cycle of the treatment.

She Didn't See It Coming

Getting pregnant with quadruplets was a complete shock to her.

In fact, when the pregnancy began, she did not think she would carry it to term. She was afraid she would miscarry.

According to her, there was too much "uncertainty, fear, and surprise."

Lindsay Has Shared Lots Of Photos

Of course, Lindsay's journey will be of greatest help to moms who are pregnant with multiples.

She also shared posts that showed how she dealt with major issues and handled some fears mothers have.

She Shared Weekly Bump Photos And Updates

Throughout her pregnancy, Lindsay shared updates with her followers on her Instagram page.

At this point, she had gained 49 pounds, and a lot of new stretch marks had formed on her body.

The Birth Of The Quadruplets

July 23, 2019 was a special day for Lindsay. On this special day, she welcomed four bundles of joy into her life.

She told her fans that she had chosen a clear drape during her C-section birth. So, she saw each of her babies being born.

How incredible and surreal is that!

Their names, according to the order in which they were born, are Caiden, Madison, Lucas, and Grayson. At the time of their birth, each weighed a little over three pounds.

The Babies Stayed In NICU

Before the newest family members could head home, they stayed in the NICU. According to Lindsay, the experience with the NICU had its ups and downs.

Luckily, all went well since the babies were given the go ahead to go home after a few weeks.

The Photo That Shows The Entire Journey

Lindsay shared a photo of her baby bump and another one showing the four adorable babies after they had been born. She is clearly overwhelmed with joy.
