A 30-year-old mother from Texas has been arrested and charged after she impersonated her teen daughter. The woman in question, Casey Garcia, said she tried a social experiment to test campus security.
Parents will do all kinds of things to make sure their children are safe. But, this mom went a step too far.
Dressing Up As Her 13-year-old Daughter

Casey's experiment involved dressing up as her teenage daughter and sneaking into a middle school.
The sad part is that she was successful.

As this mom was going through the halls of Garcia-Enriquez Middle School, near El Paso, she documented it on video.
She posted the videos on TikTok and YouTube, and the videos start with a makeover.
After doing her makeup and changing into her child's clothes, Garcia simply walked into the school.
Back To 7th Grade

While Garcia is a full-grown woman, the teachers did not notice anything strange. Sure, she had a facemask on, but still, she managed even to attend her daughter's classes!
She continued the charade until lunch, and it seemed she was about to make her mission an ultimate success. But that didn't happen.

In the afternoon, she was sent to the principal's office. And while she didn't see what the big deal was, the school called the police.
Garcia Got Arrested

Though this experiment happened on Tuesday, Garcia was arrested on Friday.
The mom maintains her innocence, claiming she had no malice attention. However, she was trespassing and impersonating a student, which is a big deal.

While Garcia's actions are too extreme, she did prove one thing: the security has serious flaws. And, despite what we think about Garcia's methods, she established her point.
As more children are getting back to school, many parents are facing safety issues once again.
If a grown woman can even sneak into the classes, then something must be off.

What do you think about this mom's actions? Does she deserve prison time or she taught the school a lesson? Perhaps the truth is somewhere between dressing up as a 7th grader and getting behind bars.
