A shocking video shows a heartless mom hurling her 2-months-old baby across the hotel lobby during an argument with her boyfriend.

In what can only be described as barbaric, the unnamed Italian mom threw her baby on the floor in rage following a row with her partner.

The incident happened in a hotel in Romania.

In the surveillance footage, the woman hurls the baby towards her partner, who is on the opposite side.

The baby hits the floor like a rag doll, skids and comes to a halt, and doesn't move.

Despite the mom's actions, the partner doesn't seem to care about the child. The mom also ignores the baby and doesn't care to pick him up.

Instead, she aggressively walks towards her partner while tipping over a plant nearby. She then stands right next to the child, as though the baby was no more worth than a piece of trash.

It seems like the mom is in a very argumentative mood as she afterward picks a fight with another woman nearby. The baby is still lying on the floor at the time.

At last, a female onlooker wearing a white shirt comes to the baby's aid and picks the infant up off the floor.

A neurosurgeon later checked the infant to make sure it hadn't suffered severe injuries to its head and spine.

Sadly, they diagnosed the baby with traumatic brain injury.

The police later arrested the mom and placed her in a detention center.

According to local reports, the Italian mom was staying at the hotel since giving birth. The mom also has another 3-year-old baby.

She had arrived to the country to visit her 38-year-old Romanian boyfriend, the baby's dad.

However, after giving birth, the mom couldn't return home to Italy due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

Instead, she stayed at the hotel with the baby, with her parents paying for her room.

Local reports added that the baby's dad visited them regularly, and they had argued for several minutes before the throwing incident.

The mom's heartless action has sparked outrage on social media.

One person said:

I'm sick to my core, and I wish more that this never happened to such an innocent child.

I wish the mother to live a lonely, isolated, unrelenting painful life that will never improve and will only get worse for her.

Another added:

That is so very hard to watch!

What's even more horrific is the fact that the father preferred to continue arguing rather than immediately go to his baby's aid.

I hope they receive very harsh punishments, and both of their children are placed in a loving home. A family that will appreciate and gives them the love that they deserve.

It worries me that people like this can have children. This woman should lose parental rights for the rest of her unnatural life!
