The remains of a missing mom was found in the husband's car, and their four children's bodies were found a few hours later.
What started as a missing person report ended in tragedy when a mom of four, Casei Jones, from Florida and her kids were all found dead.
As per police reports, relatives of Casei reported her and her four kids missing after they hadn't heard from them or seen them for six weeks.
She lived with her kids—Cameron Bowers, 10; Preston Bowers, 5; Mercalli Jones, 2; and Aiyana Jones, 1—in Summerfield.
After filing a missing person report, police considered Casei and her kid endangered. Casei's mother, Nikki Jones, pleaded for her daughter's safe return in an interview with local news.
She said:
"I've never ever been so scared. They don't know where she's at. They went to the house and she was gone. The house is empty. Casei's my baby."
"She was my last one. I don't want anything to happen to her."
Talking about her grandkids, Nikki said:
"Just like my kids – I don't know what I would do without any of them. I want them at home. I want them home safe."
"And if anybody knows anything, please, please. I'm begging mothers all over the world. If you see my daughter and my grandkids to please be a mother and call the police."
However, Casei and her kids weren't safe at all as her husband, Michael Jones, had already killed them.

Police uncovered their bodies after the husband crashed his van. At the scene of the crash, cops smelled a foul odor. Michael then confessed it was his wife's body in the car.
The husband also led police to four other bodies belonging to his kids.
Following the discovery of the bodies, the Marion County Sheriff's office held a press conference.
At the time, Sheriff Billy Woods said:
"As a father, as a parent, it breaks my heart. As a sheriff, it angers me."
Woods also explained how Casei's husband and the four kid's father was the key to uncovering the five murders.
The Sheriff Office also took to their Facebook page to update the public on the case.
They wrote:
"The family of Casei Jones contacted the Marion County Sheriff's Office to report her as missing."
"The post further highlighted how Jones' husband was considered a suspect. Detectives developed the victim's husband, Michael (DOB: 5/1/1981), as a person of interest."
"Michael was [later] located in Brantley County, Georgia, following a traffic accident."
The office added:
"[Police found] Casei Jones' remains in the vehicle Michael Wayne Jones, Jr. was driving at the time of the accident."
"He later led detectives to the remains of four children."

Investigators believed Michael killed his wife and kids at home and then stored the bodies there for weeks before driving them to Georgia.
Michael is now in custody, awaiting trial for several counts of second-degree murder charges.
