Mike Tyson got an early chance to have a go at his opponent, Roy Jones Jr., by snacking on his "ear." The famous former world heavyweight champion, now 54 years old, plans on making a dramatic comeback by fighting against Roy Jones in a highly-publicized exhibition match.
Jones is a former four-division world champion. The two were preparing for their long-awaited bout scheduled for the last weekend of November.
Long before the fight even began, Tyson spent a lot of time bulking up and getting shredded. Apparently, part of this process was digging his teeth into Jones's "ear."
"I Like Ears"
The video is titled "Thanksgiving with the Tysons."
It starts with the legend showing his kids what's for dinner. Obviously, they were expecting a turkey.
But their dad has a surprise for them. Jones head takes the turkey's place, but as a cake, obviously.
Tyson admits: "Well, I like ears." Then he goes on serving parts of his opponent to the kids.
After having a bite of Jones's ears, he says: "Mmm, real good. Tastes so much better than Evander's." This is in reference to the moment Tyson bit Evander Holyfield's ear during about in 1997.
When asked about the infamous moment later, he said he intended to do much worse:
"I bit him because I wanted to kill him. I was really mad about my head being bumped and everything. I really lost consciousness of the whole fight. It took me out of my fight plan and everything."
However, he said he would never do that again. Nevertheless, he said he might bite again if the actions leading to the infamous bite were repeated.
This might be advertised as an exhibition fight, but the two boxers are clearly keen on delivering their best performance. In fact, Tyson sees it as a way to reclaim his former glory:
"This is search and destroy and I'm looking forward to recapturing my glory… if the opportunity comes [for a knockout], I'm always looking for it."
Jones does not take the fight lightly and he does not underestimate the opponent he is facing. He knows how devastating Tyson's punches can be:
"… not just an ordinary puncher… he's one of those guys that can do just that to you. So, you should know what you're going into and you should be ready for that because this is Mike."

But he was still bold enough to claim that if Tyson does not finish the job quickly, he will have a serious problem in his hands.
The Tyson v. Jones fight is the most anticipated PPV fight of the decade.
