Sophie Lloyd has criticized the "disrespectful" allegations that she had a romantic encounter with Machine Gun Kelly following his rumored breakup with Megan Fox.

The guitarist, who has been performing with MGK since 2022, expressed that she has been unfairly implicated in the controversy due to groundless accusations on social media.

Over the weekend, Megan raised speculation about a breakup with Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) by removing all posts related to her fiancé from her Instagram account.

In addition, she posted an enigmatic message about "dishonesty", which prompted one of her fans to suggest that her fiancé likely got together with Sophie.

Another person said: "They were flirting big time in the beginning when she first started playing with him," to which Megan replied: "Maybe I got with Sophie."

Sophie's team has addressed the allegations of infidelity and stated that she has never had a romantic relationship with Machine Gun Kelly.

"Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media."

"Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue."

"It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else," they told Page Six."

Furthermore, they pointed out that Sophie has been in a committed relationship with her boyfriend Christopher Painter for over five years.

According to reports, Megan and Kelly had a major argument that led Jennifer's Body actress to even remove her engagement ring.

An insider with knowledge of the situation has disclosed that Megan is "very upset" after their supposed dispute and has been avoiding communication with MGK.

"They haven't officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off. They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time."

Subsequently, the couple was sighted outside a marriage counseling center in California, where an emotional Megan was witnessed wiping her tears while Kelly trailed behind her.

As they walked towards the parking lot, they were observed conversing with each other before departing in different vehicles.
