This has been a tough year for the controversial US President, Donald Trump. Even after having to deal with the devastating and seemingly untamable corona pandemic and trying unsuccessfully to win an election, it's now possible Trump will be looking at divorce papers in the not-so-distant future.

This is not the first time the president's relationship with his wife, Melania, has been the subject of public discussion. Throughout his term in office, the two have raised a lot of eyebrows regarding their union.

But the new rumors by a White House insider are truly shocking.

Apparently, the first lady is preparing to divorce Donald Trump as soon as he leaves office. This information was revealed by Omorosa Manigault Newman:

Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce.

She's Been Considering This For A While

According to the aide, the divorce could have happened already, but she fears the reaction she would get for humiliating her man while still the president.

So, she is sparing him the "ultimate humiliation" of getting divorced by his wife while still in office.

But still, Donald Trump is not new to divorce. He has suffered several divorces in the past.

The only other president to get divorced was Ronald Reagan.

Already, curious parties have been looking into the rumors, and recently, they spotted a moving truck outside the White House.

It turns out the truck was real, which is why many believe that Melania might be finally moving out.

Married For 15 Years

Melania has been married to Trump for 15 years. Before they got married, they had dated for 6 years.

Earlier this year, the relationship the two share was the main subject in a highly popular book: Melania and Me. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, an old friend of Melania, wrote the book.

She talks about the rivalries going on at the White House between Melania's and Trump's children. Stephanie also describes Melania as someone who likes to take advantage of her friends' kindness for personal gain.

Currently, Melania is one of the persons urging Trump to concede defeat to Joe Biden.

Other people close to the president are telling him to step aside after losing the highly contested election, including Jared Kushner, who is the president's son-in-law and also his senior advisor.

A former personal attorney of Trump, Michael Cohen, does not think Trump will give a concession speech. He also thinks Trump will not come back to the White House after Christmas, or even attend Biden's inauguration:

He is just a loser and it is killing him.

Trumps Political Future

A few other people close to Trump believe he plans on being an important influence in the Republican Party for all his life. In fact, Rick Gates expects that Trump will be in politics for a long time to come:

He's going to continue to play a significant role in the Republican Party. He'll have that locked up for at least the next few years

There are even reports that he could launch a television network. He could also continue to host rallies.

It is possible Trump will run for president in 2024. According to Mick Mulvaney, an insider and former chief of staff, Trump might make the decision to run in the next presidential race:

I would absolutely expect the president to stay involved in politics and would absolutely put him on the shortlist of people who are likely to run in 2024.

That much can be expected considering the president has said that the election was still "far from over."

But before then, Donald Trump will probably have had a lot of family issues to deal with, including a possible divorce from the current first lady, Melania Trump.
