McDonald's is now serving a four-patty Double Big Mac with a whopping 720 calories, and we're lovin' it!
Depending on how hungry you are, the two all-beef patties in the original Big Mac might be too much, or too little, to satisfy your craving.
Luckily, McDonald's has appetites of all sizes covered with two of its new menu items. Now you can choose from an original Big Mac, a Double Big Mac, or a Little Mac.
The Double Big Mac is double the fun. As you can see (check out the photo below), the Double Big Mac towers over the others.
I really want to devour this burger! I want to feast on it like a medieval king.
It'd be like that episode of Spongebob Squarepants where Squidward is goaded into eating a Krabby Patty. And he ends up going mad for them.
This comes after McDonald's recently announced, along with the standard Big Mac, it'll be introducing one-patty and four-patty burger versions.
Just like most good things at McDonald's, these burger versions are very much a temporary addition to the menu.
"Let's be honest. When a burger craving strikes, nothing quite hits the spot like the taste of McDonald's iconic Big Mac. We sometimes know that craving is small, and sometimes it's truly huge, while other times, our classic Big Mac is just right."
"That's why, starting tomorrow, we satisfy Big Mac appetites of all sizes by introducing the Little Mac and Double Big Mac for a limited time."
The Double Big Mac costs $5.49, the Little Mac costs $2.29 and the original Big Mac costs $3.39.
Linda VanGosen, the Vice President of Menu Innovation, revealed in a statement:
"[This] is more than a burger—over the past 50 years, it has become an international icon and a consistent [favorite] for our fans."
"From the perfect ratio of our infamous Special Sauce to the crunch of our crisp lettuce and the juiciness of our 100% pure beef patties, customers know and love the unmistakable [flavor] of the Big Mac."
"We're excited to give them new ways to enjoy the burger they love and satisfy fan cravings of all sizes with three delicious Big Mac options."
This isn't the first time McDonald's has released different sizes of its iconic burger.
In 2017 and 2018, the chain introduced a Mac Jr. and Grand Mac.
The Grand Mac featured 1/6-pound patties and larger buns, giving McDonald's a third type of patty to work with.
