We just love when TV show couples have the perfect chemistry.
But not everything revolves around chemistry, passion, and fireworks. Especially not if the show we're talking about is some legendary sitcom like The Big Bang Theory was.
To be honest, the relationships there were far from hot and spicy, but on the other side, it seems like they were just right.
And sometimes, having the feeling that this is IT speaks louder than any words or pictures.
Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons are one of these actors you see on screen working together, and you just know that they get along in their real life too.
You can pretend with anything, but true emotions and honest friendships are something you could never fake.
After All These Years, The Big Bang Theory Is Still One Of Our Favorite Shows
TBBT had 12 amazing seasons, and it really succeeded in bringing nerd culture and all the wonderful things that come with it to the forefront of pop culture!
But the detail that made this series what it was, were the actors in it and the lovely characters they pictured on the screen.
Sheldon Cooper Was An Ultimate Hit
Mr. Sheldon Cooper was far from the stereotype for the hot guy next door, but although he was awkward, we loved every bit of him.
His character was special, and picturing Sheldon, Jim Parsons played the role of his life.
We loved his sarcastic, rude nature. His character blossomed through the seasons, and he became softer, more human-like.
Moreover, we didn't forget his soft spots for his friends and Amy, the love of his life. After all, the narcissistic nerd discovered that he was capable of a lot more than science.
The Secret Behind Their On-Screen Relationship
In a recent interview, Mayim Bialik revealed why she and Jim Parsons worked so well together.
She told the US Weekly:
"Jim and I had a lot of nice moments together on set and I think one of the things that worked so well for us as actor partners, and maybe as producing partners too, is that we're not overly sentimental as humans, which I think is helpful."
"It was helpful in our acting, and also in the way we kind of processed ending a decade together. They had 13 years, the cast, that they had been working together.
Wondering why the fact that they aren't overly sentimental isn't surprising us at all!
The Only Exception
However, there was one exception during their filming, where they all got emotional and their hearts skipped a beat.
Mayim revealed that the last time they filmed together was very emotional for all of them.
And she went on, to describe how they felt:
"So we were not an overly sentimental couple, but obviously, it was very emotional filming our last scene. Very, very emotional, and also just to think of what that played out like for everybody to get to see us having our last scene."
She's right, and there's no doubt that we all felt it. The last scene of TBBT was definitely emotional. And worth every tear!
Do you still miss The Big Bang Theory, or is Young Sheldon giving you the right daily dose of Sheldon that you need?
