The teacher denies sexual relations with the schoolboy, telling a court that, at 5ft tall, she was 'too short' to have had doggy-style sex with the student.

Kandice Barber, 35, was previously found guilty of sending explicit photos and videos of herself to a schoolboy, 15. She's on trial again, facing three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child.

Nadia Chbat, defending Barber, re-examined the complainant over his claims that he met Barber for sexual activity on three occasions.

Chbat argued that their height difference would have made the sexual acts he described impossible.

She asked the complainant:

"You told the police that you stood behind her and that you had pulled your clothes down."

"You told the officer that your hands were on her bottom so you could see her naked bottom. And that she used her hands to guide you."

"You accept she is quite tiny, only about five feet isn't she, so you were taller than her at the time, weren't you?"

"You did not even think she could reach your shoulders at the time, would she?"

In re-examination, the boy, now 18, said he had 'crouched' and bent his knees so he could have standing-up sex with Barber.

Chbat also questioned the boy over claims that Barber gave him a pregnancy scare. According to the lawyer, the boy initially claimed they used a condom.

In cross-examination, the boy couldn't recall the specific dates when sexual activities took place.

He said the sexual acts happened between October 11, 2018, and immediately before the school half term.

He also said two of the meetings happened before his 16th birthday while another afterward.

The boy added that Barber drove them to the side of a busy main road on one occasion. She then parked so he could perform a sex act on her.

They then got out of the car and walked into the woods, where she gave him oral sex.

Chbat asked why they didn't just do the 'oral sex' inside the car.

She said:

"She is on top of you, and you are performing a sexual act in the car. What was the need to get out of the car?"

"Presumably, it would have been just a matter of her body being moved down further on your trouser area?"

"Instead, [you made] a decision to get out of the car and walk into the wooded area."

"You both walk to this wooded area. That is when you then lie down in the wooded area, and you say she performed oral sex on you."

The boy agreed with the Chbat's description of the events. He added that they had to get out of the car because Barber had parked right next to a busy main road. The area was also close to his home, the boy said.

In a police interview, the boy revealed how Barber had sent him multiple images of herself. Including a video of her masturbating on a bed.

Chbat told the court that her client said none of the sexual activity took place and it was all lies.

The court also heard that Barber had told the boy that she would 'bring him down with her' if anyone discovered their relationship.

Barber has denied the three charges of engaging in sexual acts with a child under the age of 16.
