Margot Robbie's "Barbie" Sets 2023 Release Date, Unveils First-Look Photo

Margot Robbie is in a Barbie world, as her latest film, Barbie, finally got its release date. The movie, starring Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Hari Nef, and Will Ferrel alongside gorgeous Aussie, is set to be premiered on July 21, 2023.

Behind the camera is Greta Gerwig, and she co-wrote the script alongside her partner Noah Baumbach.

The first snap shows Margot in a bubble pink Chevrolet Corvette convertible, with the perfect smile and wearing a retro-chic top and hair accessories.

Robbie, who will co-produce the movie, said that "Playing with Barbie promotes confidence, curiosity, and communication throughout a child's journey to self-discovery." Though we don't know anything about the movie's plot, we are sure it will promote woman's power.

Robbie also expressed that making a movie about the famous Mattel doll came with a "lot of baggage … and a lot of nostalgic connections. "

She believes that the moment people realize that Greta Gerwig is behind the project makes them wonder what it will look like.

Warner Bros. teased with only one image and the premiere date. Barbie is expected to become a summer blockbuster.
