An Israeli court put a couple under house arrest after a man died after getting sucked into a sinkhole in their villa. The sinkhole formed at the bottom of their pool.
The two are in their sixties, and they are suspects in a negligent death. After the police arrested them following the tragedy, the court put them under a five-day house arrest.
The tragedy took place during a private party hosted by the couple in Karmi Yosef, which is 25 miles from the city of Tel Aviv.
Based on mobile video footage from the scene, floaties can be seen getting sucked to the bottom of the pool. People on the sides can be seen shouting in Hebrew.
