Extreme tattoo addict chopped off his ears and kept them in a jar after spending more than $7,600 (£6,000) to make his head look like a skull.
Sandro, aka 'Mr. Skull Face,' from Finsterwalde, Germany, has undergone 17 extreme body modifications imaginable: Forehead implants, forearm implants, back of the hand implants, under the skin payment implant, and tongue splitting.

And last year, he had his ears removed. He now plans to have the tip of his nose cut off and his eyeballs tattooed.
His extreme look, however, doesn't sit well with everyone.

Sandro admits that he receives plenty of unwarranted comments when he is out and about. Some people even call him 'crazy.'
He said:
"If people stare, I really don't care. If someone says something like 'you are a sick old man' then I will answer with 'thank you for the compliment.'"
"Negative comments go in one side and out the other."
"It has strengthened my self-confidence above all."

Sandro also says his appearances have changed his life, with his family and friends even jesting that he's a freak.
However, he doesn't let it bother him. He says that people should accept him for who he is and not just the way he looks.
Sandro said:
"My transformation has influenced my life, but I don't care."
"I should be accepted as a person, and above all, because of my inner values."
"Friends have tried to talk me out of the modifications, especially when it came to cutting off my ears. But I'm just a person who likes to go his own way."

He is currently unemployed and believes it could be because of his appearance.
He said:
"My appearance has had a huge impact on my chances of getting a job because a lot of companies are still very conservative and prefer to go with the flow."
He's also single and believes this could also be due to his looks.
Sandro said:
"I think that, also, it has, of course, had an effect on me finding a relationship because it scares most people off."
"But of course, many people also find it very interesting."

Despite this, he still loves his bizarre appearance and doesn't plan to stop any time soon. Sandro also insists that his transformations have made him more confident.

However, he warned others to ensure they have modifications for the right reasons.
He said:
"If you're a beginner, do long and thorough research, think carefully about everything, and take your time."
"Above all, never do something just because you want to be more blatant or cool with it."
"It has to come from the heart and be for yourself."
