A New Haven man, Joshua Murray, 25, has been arrested after allegedly pulling a gun on two women for not thanking him after he held the door for her.
Murray has been charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, two counts of breach of the peace 2nd degree, and interfering with the police work.
The Connecticut police said the young man was "upset" since the two women showed no gratitude for his small act of kindness.
Murray was at a Family Dollar store in Hamden, and the police found him nearby after they were alerted about his actions.
The police said Murray "interfered" with the arrest but was detained and charged.
The authorities claim that "Aawitness reported that the suspect was upset that two women did not say thank you to him for holding a door open for them."
His bail was set for $25,000.
