Madonna's sexuality has long been a topic of debate among music fans. The music star recently sent the internet into overdrive when she seemingly admitted that she was "gay" in a TikTok video.

The 64-year-old posted a five-second video clip for the reveal on social media. In the video, she holds a pair of pink underwear while the caption over the clip reads: "If I miss, I'm gay."

She goes on to throw the underwear in the direction of a bin but misses in a way that seems too intentional.

The shrug at the end of the video seemed like a "well, yeah, there you go" shrug.

The clip amassed over 1.3 million views in one hour, and its comment section was a mess in that short time. Some fans cheered her on for finally admitting her sexuality.

One wrote: "Did Madonna just come out? And I'm witnessing it in real-time?"

Another chipped in: "Are we like witnessing history in the making?"

Others expressed shock using emojis and exclamation marks.

Some pointed out that she had admitted to being bisexual in the past. One wrote: "Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades, my dudes."

Another affirmed: "We already knew that."

Madonna had never fully admitted her sexual preferences. There have been many rumors of her dating women, but she has neither confirmed nor denied them.

According to The Sun, Madonna has encouraged gossip about her sex life with her silence. About her being bisexual, she did say something back in 1990, after her "Justify My Love" video clip aired on television, that could have attested to it.

Per the Daily Mail, she said, "I think everybody has a bisexual nature. That's my theory. I could be wrong."

19 years ago, Madonna kissed Britney Spears on stage at the VMAs, and in 1991, in a letter to supermodel Amanda Cazalet per The Sun, she wrote: "I think you are the most beautiful woman in the world. I'm dying to kiss you again. I fantasize about you all the time.

"I cannot explain my attraction — nevertheless, it's there. I'm attracted to very few women in this way."

Except she was talking about a "holy kiss," it's no wonder there have been speculations about her being gay and now, a likely confirmation.
