Madame Tussauds Responds After Claims Zendaya's Wax Figure "Looks Like Kylie Jenner"

Zendaya got a wax figure in Madame Tussauds London, and the Internet is divided.

After numerous complaints that the wax figure of Zendaya looks way too much like Kylie Jenner, the museum had responded.

The figure was supposed to reflect Zendaya's unique style and presence. That's why the figure was dressed up in a pink power suit the actress wore at the Humane Society of the United States's To The Rescue Gala back in 2016.

Madame Tussauds revealed the figure would be made public from Friday, February 9, at its Baker Street location.

In an Instagram post, the museum of wax figures wrote:

"From cinema screens to tv screens, to buying a home in London, Zendaya is EVERYWHERE rn... and from Friday her figure will be at Madame Tussauds London too."

This unveiling came days after it was reported that the Euphoria star bought a London property with her boyfriend, Tom Holland. It is also a wonderful tribute to one of the most talented women of her generation, who has tens of millions of fans worldwide.

However, the same fans were not thrilled about Madame Tussauds' representation of Zendaya.

Twitter users pointed out that youthful and charismatic Zendaya gives "Mom: we have Zendaya at home" vibes.

One Twitter user wrote:

"Zendaya is so beautiful and it's a damn shame her wax figure looks like she's had a long day at the office and she *does not* like the service she received when she went to pick up her take-out, and now she wants to speak to everyone's manager."

On Instagram, one person wrote:

"What a waste of wax because you did not make her look like Zendaya at all."

Another added:

"Let's try again."

And this comment gained plenty of attention:

"It looks like if Zendaya and Kylie Jenner had a baby."

The spokesperson for Madame Tussauds wrote:

"Our talented artists created our new Zendaya figure using measurements and references taken during her 2015 sitting."

"We understand that when fans are incredibly passionate they might feel differently until they have had the chance to see it up close."

There are a million reasons to come to London, but we are not sure what would be the difference between the wax figure of Zendaya in photos and in person.

It appears that Zendaya is in good company because numerous other superstars suffered the same faith in the hands of wax artists. Beyonce, Ariana Grande, and Nicole Kidman are among them, but it is still a lovely tribute to Zendaya's ever-growing celebrity and influence.
