Machine Gun is no stranger to outlandish stage performances. However, his decision to smash glass into his face during a concert at the Madison Square Garden in New York during his Mainstream Sellout Tour has left many people scratching their heads.

The pop-punk singer was also hosting the premiere of Life In Pink, his recently released documentary.

Things got pretty intense at one point.

This was after he decided to hit his face with a champagne glass while performing My Ex's Best Friend. He was performing during the after-party.

Machine Gun Kelly was seen with blood on his face, neck, and hands with other famous friends at the Catch Steakhouse. He later explained to his fans what happened that night.

The singer left the venue with his pink getup covered in blood. However, he was still in pretty good spirits, and he smiled in front of the cameras while holding hands with Megan Fox, his girlfriend.

It was clear that Megan Fox was not too happy about the scene. She covered her face with her sleeve as photos of the couple were taken.

He put on the gory performance after announcing his Disney+ documentary, Life In Pink. The documentary offers his fans a behind-the-scenes peek into his personal life.

In the film, he said that his father's death took him to a dark place.

Recently, there were reports that he had put a gun in his mouth and tried to commit suicide while talking to his girlfriend, actress Megan Fox.

He later said that paranoia was the reason he felt like he should kill himself:

"I wouldn't leave my room, and I started getting really, really, really dark. Megan went to Bulgaria to shoot a movie, and I started getting this really wild paranoia. Like, I kept getting paranoid that someone was gonna come and kill me."

He would keep a shotgun close to his bed, and on that day, he "f*****g snapped."

He then called Megan, telling her she was not there for him, and started to freak out. Then he put his shotgun in his mouth.

MGK then started yelling on the phone. He cocked the shotgun, and the shell got jammed. Megan was silent after this happened.
