The Hocus Pocus LEGO set is almost here!
In 2020, we were excited to hear about a Hocus Pocus LEGO set concept. The idea was the brainchild of Amber Veyt.
People have never forgotten the design concept, and now, there's an actual Hocus Pocus LEGO set.
For those who didn't know, fans can submit LEGO set designs through the LEGO Ideas website.
Any design that gets enough votes makes it to the next stage, the review stage. After that, it goes into development and becomes a LEGO set you can buy.
Amber's HOCUS POCUS concept got 10,000 votes, allowing it to reach the final stage.
Amber is a Belgian LEGO fan, and the LEGO Review Board decided to turn her concept into reality. An updated version of Sanderson Sisters Cottage consists of 2,992 pieces.
The set includes a Sanderson Sisters' Cottage you can open, Billy's grave, and 12 Minifigurines (Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Sanderson, Max Dennison, Mary Sanderson, Dani Dennison, Emily Binx, Allison, Thackery Binx, Billy Butcherson, Bink (as a cat), Jay, and Ernie, also known as Ice.
The original design includes notable aspects such as the black flame candle and the Sanderson Sisters' spellbook. The design also features a spell that turns Thackery Binx into a cat.
Needless to say, this is just amazing!
Amber wrote on the LEGO Ideas website that she loved the movie as a kid, and she still does. While she was watching it again, she saw Sanderson Sisters' Cottage and thought it would make a great LEGO set.
She did not think this would just be a great idea for lovers of Hocus Pocus but also an excellent set for anyone who loves spooky, haunted houses and Halloween.
The Hocus Pocus 2 movie will be released in September this year.
