Lizzo, also known as Melissa Viviane Jefferson, is reportedly facing a significant media scandal with three of her former dancers filing a lawsuit against her.

The 35-year-old pop singer and songwriter is famous for her hit songs like '2 Be Loved', 'Juice', and 'Good As Hell'. She has collaborated with top artists such as Ariana Grande, Missy Elliott, and Charli XCX.

Lizzo has gained a massive fanbase and sold out arenas worldwide, thanks to her uplifting anthems and strong advocacy for body positivity and self-love.

However, amidst her success, the 'About Damn Time' singer now confronts serious allegations.

According to NBC's report, Lizzo is facing a lawsuit due to allegations of mistreatment made against her and her dance captain by members of her touring crew.

The case has been brought to light by former dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez.

As of now, the 'Truth Hurts' star has not publicly responded to the allegations, which are yet to be tested in court.

The legal action, filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, includes claims that the dancers experienced "sexually denigrating behavior" and were pressured into participating in disturbing sexual shows between 2021 and 2023.

One of the accusations against Lizzo is that she allegedly pressured Davis to touch the breasts of a performer at a nightclub during their tour in Amsterdam.

Additionally, it was reported that the Grammy Award-winning singer invited crew members to participate in "catching d****s launched from the performers' v*****s, and eating bananas protruding from the performers' v*****".

Variety reported that the star, along with dance choreographer Tanisha Scott, has faced accusations of weight-shaming towards Davis during their tour.

Allegedly, Davis was questioned about her commitment to her role on the dance cast, creating the impression that she needed to justify her weight gain and reveal personal information to keep her job.

The legal action also involves allegations against the dance team's captain, Shirlene Quigley. She is claimed to have imposed her Christian beliefs on performers and criticized those engaging in premarital sex. Quigley has also allegedly discussed the virginity of one of the former dancers on social media.

According to Variety, Black members of the dance team were treated differently, being accused of laziness, unprofessionalism, and bad attitudes, while other dancers were reportedly not subjected to such treatment.

The plaintiffs also claim they were not fairly compensated during certain segments of Lizzo's European tour by both Lizzo and the production company team.
