After Camille Vasquez's success in court, where she helped Johhny Depp win his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, law firms are now racing to hire her.

She made an impact during the trial both on Depp's fans and the jury. The team consisted of her and eight other skilled lawyers; Ben Chew, Stephanie Calnan, Andrew Crawford, Rebecca MacDowell Lecaroz, Yarelyn Mena, Jessica Meyers, and Samuel Moniz.

However, Camille Vasquez often stole the show with her intelligent arguments and effective debunking of Heard's testimonies.

Depp accused Heard of defamation in an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018, and after weeks of testimonies, the jury ruled in favor of Depp and awarded him $15 million in damages.

Vasquez effectively exposed Heard and became a viral phenomenon on the Internet and especially on the video-sharing platform TikTok. Many doors are now opening for the 37-year-old lawyer.

Legal firms are said by industry sources cited by The New York Post to be competing to hire her since they all want the star lawyer onboard.

Vasquez is currently working as an associate in the law firm Brown Rudnick. However, celebrity lawyer Judd Burstein has shared his thought about her future, and he believes she will soon be promoted to partner.

"No firm would allow her to have a role in a big trial like this if she wasn't on the partner track," Burstein revealed to The Post.

"There are two factors that go into making a partner – your quality of lawyering and ability to attract business. She can probably go anywhere and make a nice deal for herself," he concluded.

Another legal source described Vasquez as a "shark" and revealed that the community is buzzing with firms trying to offer her the highest bid.

Vasquez has also been said to be much more effective than Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft in a comparison.

"They recognize that she is the unicorn," one source told The Post. "A smart, savvy, poised attorney whose impactful performance during the trial propelled her to a rare level of visibility. And the fact that she is a woman of color is an added bonus."

Apart from being the latest buzz in the legal community, Vasquez has also received offers from traditional TV networks and cable channels.

"Camille is inarguably a great voice to weigh in on legal matters, and networks are naturally chomping at the bit to speak with her about on-air opportunities."

Vasquez's newfound popularity also led to a statement from Brown Rudnick disclosing how proud the firm is of its lawyer. The firm told The Post that it is "thrilled that so many people are seeing what we've known for years: that Camille Vasquez is a star."

"We were always confident that she had what it takes to succeed on this stage. That's why she is a key member of the trial team and has a bright future with us."
