Krispy Kreme Unveils New Reese's Chocolate And Peanut Butter Donuts Versions

Calling out all chocolate, peanut butter, and donut lovers! Krispy Kreme and Reese's have joined forces to bring you the dessert mashup of your dreams: the Reese's Lovers Original Filled Donuts!

The new collaboration brings out two versions of the original glazed Krispy Kreme donuts that are now stuffed, drizzled, and dipped in chocolate and peanut butter.

Both companies took to social media to show off the new creations.

Krispy Kreme shared a video that showcased the two new donuts, peanut butter lovers donuts, and chocolate lovers versions. They posted:

"MORE doughnuts, MORE chocolate & MORE peanut butter! You want some more?! Reese's Lovers Original Filled Doughnuts are available now!"

And Reese's joined in, posting:

"We've teamed up with Krispy Kreme to bring you greatness. Reese's Lovers Original Filled Doughnut greatness that is. Get yours now before they're gone."

Dream team for all sugar lovers

The Reese's Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Donut is a chocolate glazed donut filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Kreme. It's also dipped in chocolate fudge icing and adds peanut butter icing drizzle.

While the peanut butter lover's version of the doughnut is basically the opposite, the Reese's Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Donut— It's filled with Chocolate Peanut Butter Kreme and dipped in Reese's peanut butter icing.

You can take your pick of flavor depending on which you love more.

The donuts— each providing about 27 grams of sugar and more than 300 calories— are meant to be a companion to Reese's new Peanut Butter Lovers Cups, which have a layer of peanut butter on top.

They're available individually or by the dozen. The chain is also offering them in a two-pack box.

Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme Donut Corporation, recently said in a press release:

"Our latest co-creation with Reese's is our best yet."

"If the technology exists to fill a Krispy Kreme doughnut with Reese's Peanut Butter Kreme and Chocolate Kreme, then how could we not offer that to America? Well, it does. So we are. And it's amazing."

This isn't the first time the companies have teamed up to create a creamy breakfast dessert. Back in 2016, they launched a donut in Australia, and Americans went nuts on the internet, demanding it to be brought to the US from the Upside Down.

Eventually, the magic happened, and Krispy Kreme made a filled donut available in the US.

If this is anything like the last time, you'll need to get on it.
