Typically, people won't openly express their adoration or disdain for you.

Yet, there are clear indicators that show the extent to which you are favored.

This was something Kim Kardashian learned during her participation in Netflix's roast of Tom Brady on May 5th.

Evidently, the audience was quick to show their lack of appreciation for the reality TV star.

As Kim Kardashian stepped onto the stage at the festival, at the invitation of comedian Kevin Hart to deliver her jokes, an unexpected reaction occurred.

While she initially received some cheers, they were quickly drowned out by a strong wave of boos from the crowd.

The booing grew so loud that Kim was forced to stop mid-joke, clearly taken aback by the hostile response.

The situation only eased when Kevin Hart intervened, calming the crowd with repeated calls of "woah, woah, woah."

Clips of this incident have begun circulating on social media, attracting considerable attention and amusement from viewers.

"Kim Kardashian getting booed at the Tom Brady Roast is incredible," noted one social media user.

"Guess you should only appear live when you can control the narrative. Otherwise, you'll get booed right off the stage every time," another remarked.

"Holy s***, like half the audience at the Tom Brady roast just mercilessly booed Kim Kardashian to the point where she had to stop and acknowledge it," a third person commented.

"OMG, they booed Kim Kardashian so bad. That was embarrassing. The audience only stopped because Kevin asked them to," added someone else.

The night was tough enough already, with the event centered around roasting NFL star Tom Brady, but Kardashian found herself the target of several jibes even while sitting in the audience.

When Brady eventually took to the stage, he too made a jab involving Kim's ex, Kanye West, and their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

"Thank you so much for being here," he said to her.

"I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight."

"Not because of this event, but because her kids are at home with their dad."

The audience erupted in laughter at Brady's comment, while Kim simply smiled and shook her head, seemingly unamused by the joke.

Indeed, it was a difficult evening for Kim.
