Although it is still several months away, people can't wait for the Governor's Ball. The event will be headlined by Kid Cudi, Halsey, and J. Cole.
Last year, the show enjoyed its 10th-year anniversary.
The show will come back in early June. Dozens of artists will be part of the event, which will take place in the Citi Field complex in Queens, New York.
Kid Cudi will be in charge on Friday, June 10, and Halsey will take over on June 11, while J. Cole will keep the vibes going on June 12.
To show their appreciation for the host city of New York, those behind the event will donate $25,000 to the New York City Mayor's Fund's relief efforts.
The funds will help victims of the apartment fire in the Bronx that took the lives of 17 people.
Other than the three headliners, those attending the event will also get an opportunity to enjoy the presence of artists like Flume, Playboi Carti, Jack Harlow, Clairo, Still Woozy, Black Pumas, and many others.
NBA legend Shaq O'Neal will also be making an appearance. He will be performing as deejay Diesel.
Those who are wondering whether the former athlete has any deejaying skills will have a chance to find out the truth during the eagerly-awaited event.
Here is a video of Shaquille O'Neal showing off his skills as a DJ back in the day.
Seeing Shaq show off his deejaying skills is clearly one more reason to attend this year's Governor's Ball. You will get a chance to see a 7-foot tall deejay, which is more popular for his athleticism, showing off his skills.
Tickets to the event will go on sale on January 27 from 12 p.m. ET, and they will be sold through the event's official website, GovBall.com.
