When the world learned that Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, a 49-year-old artist, were engaged, most of us felt partly jealous and yet excited for the beloved actor.
Little did we know that the beloved star was already married to fellow actor Winona Ryder. And for 30 years!
Dracula Wedding

The story about Keanu's wedding to Winona starts in 1992. The two promising young actors were filming Francis Ford Coppola's movie Bram Stroker's Dracula.

If you remember the movie, there was a wedding scene. And since this is Francis Ford Coppola, he wanted everything to be accurate. So, Winona and Keanu filmed a scene with actual priests.
Talking to Esquire, Keanu said:
"We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests. Winona says we are. Coppola says we are."
"So I guess we're married under the eyes of God."

It appears that the two stars have one of the longest Hollywood marriages.
Reeves' reply came with a wry smile, which was in response to an Entertainment Weekly interview with The Stranger Things star. Winnona told the publication in 2018:
"We actually got married in Dracula."

At the time, Keanu and Winona were promoting their movie, Destination Wedding.
Wait, So The Wedding Was Real?
Winona explained:
"No, I swear to god I think we're married in real life. In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master, and he did the whole thing."

Since it is safe to assume there was no marriage license, the two are not married, except "in the eyes of the God," as Keanu described it.
The two did not even date, but their characters married, so it became a thing.

Their reunion, Destination Wedding, did not come close to Dracula, but the fans were happy to see them in something which was not as scary as Coppola's masterpiece.
