Katy Perry Slays saturday Night Live with Magic Mushroom Versions Of 'never Really Over' And 'when I'm Gone'

Katy Perry gave her best performance during her appearance on Saturday Night Live! She hosted the show back in 2011, and she was returning for the fourth time as a musical guest.

This time, Willem Dafoe was the host, and it was his first time on the job. Perry performed two times, and both performances were incredible.

Perry is 37, and she is a Grammy-nominated singer with a huge fan base throughout the world.

Her performance of When I'm Gone included stunning and realistic visuals, complete with an unmissable red shroom costume.

After that, she wowed her fans with a new version of her 2019 song, "Never Really Over." Even while performing the second song, she was on top of a giant mushroom, but she was wearing a beautiful light blue gown.

Last week, the singer gave clues about the songs she would perform during her social media performance.

She also gave a nod to her Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Theatre. The show started last month, and it includes some of her colorful costumes.

The show was filled with many beloved tracks, including Dark Horse, California Gurls, I Kissed A Girl, Roar, Firework, E.T.

She was in such high demand among her fans that she added 16 more show dates for the summer, and the tickets are already on sale.

Otherwise, the next host of SNL will be John Mulaney on February 26. The musical guest will be LCD Soundsystem.
