Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had a great night together ahead of her eagerly awaited appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend. The two lovebirds are already engaged, and they were out on a date at Carbone, an Italian staple in New York City.

The two celebrities wore fashionable clothing, with Bloom wearing a blue denim ensemble. Perry was wearing camel corduroy from head to toe.

According to those who saw the pair having a fun night out, the couple is still enjoying the honeymoon phase of their relationship. Bloom was a total gentleman as he opened doors for her, held her hand, and led her into the restaurant.

Their 1-year-old infant daughter, Daisy, was not with them as they went out to have dinner. They left the restaurant at around midnight.

The week will be special in another way as the singer is set to be on SNL as a musical guest. She will appear alongside Willem Dafoe, who will be hosting the show.

The 37-year-old singer is no stranger to the popular show. She has been a music star in the show on three different occasions in the past.

She also hosted the show back in 2011.

Bloom celebrated his 45th birthday on January 13, and Perry shared an Instagram photo showing the actor as he blew out candles during his special day.

Not long ago, she just completed the first leg of her residency at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas. The performances have been extended until August.

Those who can't afford to travel and see her will at least get a chance to watch her perform on SNL this weekend.
