British supermodel, Kate Moss, testified for Johnny Depp in the defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

Depp, 58, sued Heard, 36, for $50 million over the allegation of abuse. The Aquaman star wrote an op-ed piece for The Washington Post which did not name Depp but strongly implied that she was the victim of his alleged violent outburst.

Kate Moss appeared in a video link from Gloucestershire, England. The supermodel and Johnny Depp dated between 1994 and 1998.

Kate was not supposed to appear in court, but Amber Heard testified about a rumor that Depp pushed Moss down the straits.

Once Heard made these allegations, Depp's team celebrated.

Kate Moss's testimony was brief, around 2 minutes. Depp's attorney Benjamin Chew asked her whether Depp pushed her while they were on holiday. Moss told the Virginia court:

"No, he never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any stairs."

She described their holiday, saying that she slipped and Depp heard her scream:

And I screamed because I didn't know what had happened to me and I was in pain.

"And he [Depp] came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention."

The Burberry model told the court they were in Jamaica when she had an accident.

Cathy Russon, the Executive Producer at Law&Crime Trial Network, who has been airing the trial, posted a tweet regarding Kate's testimony.

During her testimony last week, Amber Heard suggested she was being portrayed as dishonest because Depp is a "bigger star" with "more publicity reach."

Her interest, as she testified, was "clearing my name." Heard said that "I was being called a 'liar' and my motives were being questioned."

She continued:

"I wanted to make a statement to make sure there was not any doubt. That I couldn't be labeled these things just because Johnny was the bigger star and had more publicity reach."

After Kate Moss, other witnesses took the stand, including Johnny Depp and former TMZ employee Morgan Tremaine. He testified about the source of an exclusive video in the Johnny Depp defamation case.
